  • You may file a claim for the lesser of the repair or replacement cost of the package contents, up to the declared value.  A damage inspection will be carried out if necessary by Luggage Free or its logistics partners.  Upon review, our licensed insurance providers will make the final determination on if the claim will be approved or denied, along with the final approval amount.  All decisions determined by these providers shall be final. 

    Luggage Free insures against complete loss of or against any physical damage that has occurred to a shipment while in transit. Luggage Free or its logistics partners are not liable for damage or loss of protruding parts such as wheels, straps, pockets, handles, or other items attached to a travel case or bag. Luggage Free shall have no liability for damage to, or loss of, packages or Sporting Goods resulting from poor packaging, failure to lock, failure to acquire insurance or failure to require a signature upon delivery.     Important:  Please do not discard packaging (including the shipping label) or damaged merchandise until the claims process has been completed.  Damaged merchandise must be made available for collection to Luggage Free or its logistics partners upon request.  Failure to provide the merchandise may result in a claims denial or reduced payment. Failure to secure or lock the packaging will result in a denial of lost or missing items.
